Our Story

Yo-San Studio was first created in 2008 as a family-led design venture. What began with accessories—designed and produced together by a mother, daughter, and sister—was rooted in creativity, craftsmanship, and a shared love of making.

While the studio itself paused, the work never did.

Over the past several decades, that foundation expanded through a career in design education and practice, supported by three degrees in design and more than 35 years of teaching. Along the way, that work has shaped and influenced designers across industries—many of whom now lead and contribute to fashion companies worldwide.

Today, Yo-San Studio returns with a new focus and expanded vision.

​

The studio now centers on digital textile design, surface patterns, and creative resources—bridging traditional design knowledge with emerging technologies and new ways of creating.

This is not just a relaunch. It is a continuation.
